Neha Dhupia, Om Puri, Kirron Kher, Randhir Kapoor and Rajpal Yadav play supporting roles in the film. The story is based on the 1994 Gujarati Indian play Action Replay. The film was released on 5 November 2010, coinciding with Diwali.
